Advanced Objects (AOs)

Data Management's Advanced Objects (AOs) are special macros designed for applying best business practices in implementing data quality-related transformations and reporting. They are organized by functional category—profiling, address quality, matching, parsing, and reporting. You can find sample projects that use many of the Advanced Objects in the repository.

To use an Advanced Object in a project:

1. Drag the Advanced Object's icon from the repository.

2. Connect the icon to input and output.

3. Select the macro icon, and then go to the Properties pane.

4. Select the appropriate tabs and boxes to select fields and options.

Unless otherwise indicated, all input fields are of type Text with no size limitations.
