Self-hosted deployment model
Redpoint component installation
Redpoint’s self-hosted offerings provide multiple components that are logically connected to support a transformative customer experience. Below is the logical approach to deploying the components to support the platform. This deployment approach assumes an underlying technical environment exists, in a cloud subscription or on-premise, to deploy the various components along with supporting technologies, such as networking and databases.
Redpoint Data Management (RPDM)
The role of Data Management is to support ingestion and transformation of data, identity resolution, and population of the data model that supports the customer data platform. Logically, this is the first component to install in the stack. Once this component is installed, you will be able configure sources and outputs in support of the CDP.
Refer to the RPDM User Guide for details.
Redpoint Interaction (RPI)
Redpoint Interaction is composed of two primary products: Orchestration and Real-Time Interactions.
Orchestration supports building campaigns for use in both inbound and outbound communications. Now that the Data Management components are in place to curate data you can now activate the data with RPI.
Refer to the Deployment guide for details about deploying RPI on Kubernetes using HELM.
Refer to the RPI Admin Guide for additional configuration information.
Real-Time Interactions include real-time personalization decisions and real-time data tracking as well as transactional messaging. Real-time capabilities are delivered a set of APIs as well as a few other components that support real-time orchestration. The software and UI components of Realtime are an extension to RPI, and this installation should follow RPI.
Refer to the same Deployment guide as above, which also includes some important Real-Time configuration information.
Refer to the Real-Time section of the RPI Admin Guide for additional configuration information.
