AO Post From Master Record
Overview
AO Post From Master Record accepts a single input stream. It is designed to copy up to ten fields from the master record of each match group and replace the values in all of the duplicate records in the same group. If you want to see where data has changed, we recommend using a Calculate tool to copy the data to new fields, and then running AO Post From Master on those fields to see where and what changes occurred.
AO Post From Master Record configuration parameters
AO Post From Master Record has a single set of configuration parameters.
Input
Parameter | Definition |
---|---|
Match ID | (Required) Match ID linking records. This is usually generated out of the matching process or AO Match Append.
|
Group order | (Optional) Used for ordering records for proper data consolidation and master identification. The master is assumed to be the first record within each ordered match group. We recommend using the "Group Order" output generated by AO Match Append Info; otherwise use the source Priority field assigned by AO Define Source. If missing, the order will be assumed to be the physical record order within the match group.
