Connector deprecation plan

Overview

This document outlines upcoming connector deprecations, including the rationale, scope, and timeline for these changes. It also explains what current users can expect, how existing workflows may be affected, and how these updates support a more reliable, performant, and well-supported platform going forward.

1. Why are these connectors being deprecated/sunset?

We’re streamlining our supported connector set to improve system reliability, performance, and testing coverage. Many of the deprecated connectors have seen little or no usage, or are based on older technologies that are no longer actively supported by their providers.

2. Which connectors are being deprecated/sunset?

A detailed list is published below and will be updated with the version in which they’ll be deprecated and then ultimately removed. Please note the “type” category, as often a connector may be available in multiple capacities (for example as a cache and an auxiliary database), and each implementation is unique.

3. When will these changes take effect?

Deprecation will begin in March 2026 and affected connectors are expected to be fully removed by December 2026. During this time, deprecated connectors will no longer receive updates or QA validation.

4. What happens if I’m currently using one of these connectors?

If your organization is actively using any of the affected connectors, we recommend reaching out to your client partner or our support team at support@redpointglobal.com to review options.

5. Will this affect my existing campaigns or automations?

Existing workflows that rely on deprecated connectors will still function but it is not recommended to continue use without support. Once we have sunset connectors, the connector will no longer be available in the product.

7. What if I need one of the deprecated connectors re-enabled?

Once a connector has been deprecated, it will no longer be supported or QA-validated. If a strong use case exists, please reach out to our support team at support@redpointglobal.com— we’ll evaluate whether reactivation makes sense.

8. How will this improve the platform for me?

Streamlining the connector ecosystem allows us to test, release, and support features more efficiently, resulting in a more stable, secure, and performant experience across all users.

9. Will there be more deprecations in the future?

We regularly review platform usage and performance data to ensure we’re investing in the most impactful capabilities. Any future deprecations will follow the same transparent communication and transition process.
