Enhancement | Description | More information |
---|---|---|
Data Import Designer | Data imports allow you to load files on an ad hoc basis into the RPI data warehouse, so that the data therein can be used in a tactical capacity. For example, you can use the Data Import Designer to load a short list of customers in order to send each one a one-off email. | |
Localization asset | Localization assets allow you to collate a series of strings, providing multi-lingual translations for each. The set of supported locales continues to be defined by system configuration setting The previous method of localizing content using variants defined within text and HTML assets has been deprecated. | |
Queue Reader container | A new dedicated Queue Reader container has been introduced, which is responsible for the draining of Queue listener and RPI Realtime queues. | |
Basic Selection Rule AI Integration (Beta feature) | RPI now supports the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) via Azure OpenAI Service to create criteria within a basic selection rule. Subsequent refinement of the criteria—either using the prompt or manually—is supported. | |
Template Tenant Deployment | A new Tenant Template Export button was added to the main toolbar within the RPI Configuration Workbench, allowing you to export a tenant’s configuration to reuse when creating a new tenant. This allows you to effectively mirror tenant configurations. | |
DevOps Enhancements | The following features have been introduced to improve the deployment of RPI by Redpoint DevOps personnel:
| |
Source Users from Keycloak | In v7.3, RPI supports deeper integration with Keycloak beyond being an OpenID Connect (OIDC) provider, allowing you to create and manage users in Keycloak, and access them in the User configuration interface. | |
System Variables | System variables allow you to define and use variables at the RPI cluster level in the context of standard and basic selection rules as well as in content. | |
Localized Content | Text and HTML assets now support the provision of multiple, localized versions of their content. When creating or editing asset content, separate content can be created for each supported variant. | |
Auto-Replay | A new Auto Replay tab has been made at all interaction triggers' configuration panels, allowing you to specify how RPI will behave when certain types of errors occur. | |
Workflow Prioritization | A new Prioritization tab has been made available at all interaction workflow trigger types, allowing you to specify activity priorities and override certain activity schedule settings. | |
Telemetry | A new Telemetry tab has been added at the Operations interface. The tab allows you to generate an Excel Telemetry Report, which includes Audit Metrics, Active Triggers, Database Queries, Administration Collections, Designers - In Use, and Designers - Not In Use tabs. | |
Containerization | RPI services have been converted to a set of Linux container images. The concept of an RPI Node no longer exists; RPI Execution and Node Manager images can be started as required. | |
Deployment: API | A new RPI Deployment API has been published. It provides endpoints that allow you to:
