Complex
Data Management can read and write a wide variety of nested or hierarchical data processing file formats, which we refer to as complex file formats. Some of these file formats are standards-based (such as X12 or EDIFACT), and some are custom file formats developed on a per-project or per-customer basis. Data Management models these file formats as hierarchies of nested records, and has enough flexibility to handle many of the special cases encountered in real-world examples of this kind of data.
