Redpoint cloud-native deployments
Overview
Redpoint software is supported natively in each of the three primary clouds: Azure, AWS (Amazon), and GCP (Google). Each of the products has been containerized and can be deployed and managed in Kubernetes. Each of the cloud platforms supports some implementation of Kubernetes. If there were a component that was not supported by a container, it could still be fully supported in the cloud using virtual machines to host the software, either Redpoint or supporting technologies.
In addition to the applications themselves, they rely on supporting technologies like databases, queues, and storage, to name a few. Redpoint applications running natively also support native technologies in each of the clouds. So, you can run the applications as well as the native supporting technologies within a given cloud platform, or you could use technologies from multiple clouds, if desired. Performance and security considerations need to be made when considering using technologies from multiple cloud providers.
Redpoint products
The three primary Redpoint products that can be deployed are as follows:
Redpoint Data Management (RPDM)
Data Quality & Ingestion
Identity Resolution
Redpoint Interaction (RPI)
Segmentation & Activation
Campaign Orchestration
Redpoint Realtime (RTD)
Realtime Profiles
Realtime Decisions
The Redpoint software is the same across clouds, but the associated technology like databases, storage, and queues, etc. can be specific to the cloud you are in or they can extend beyond the cloud to use other supported technologies like Snowflake.
Below is an image of the components used in a Redpoint deployment along with a set of matrices of supported technologies by cloud.

Supported technologies per product
Below are some links to the product documentation pages that include information about what technologies are supported by each product. This documentation is regularly updated and should be reviewed if you are trying to identify which technologies are supported by each of the Redpoint products.
Redpoint Data Management
Below are a few links relevant to supported technologies for RPDM. These are a few pages that are called out, but there may be additional and more recent information about supported technologies on the documentation site.
Redpoint Interaction & Realtime
Below are links to the supported connectors for RPI:
Redpoint cloud security support
The Redpoint applications support various security features provided by the primary cloud providers.
RPDM
Data Management supports several security features for cloud environments, including integration with third-party credential vaults such as AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, and Google Secret Manager. These integrations allow for the secure storage and retrieval of secrets, such as passwords, either as encrypted values or as key vault references. Additionally, Data Management employs modern cryptographic methods to ensure that stored or transmitted secrets are secure.
RPI
Certain RPI functionality (e.g., secret managers, Azure and GCP plugins) makes use of cloud provider identity to authenticate with cloud services. This can be configured in the services’ Cloud Identity application settings.
