About the Audience Builder

Welcome to our new Audience Builder!

The Audience Builder is currently a “beta” feature; we’re continuing to enhance the feature set and improve stability. Stay tuned for upcoming updates.

The new Audience Builder gives you the flexibility to design complex, multi-layered audiences directly in the web. You can visually construct audiences that include multiple levels of targeting, suppression, and segmentation, enabling sophisticated, non-linear audience flows that mirror real-world campaign needs.

With a flexible, designer-style workspace, you can easily see how an audience is structured, understand how data flows through each stage, and make precise adjustments with an intuitive add/remove interface. This provides the following benefits:

  • Eliminates friction in building complex activations

  • Supports re-use of existing segments

  • Ensures audiences remain editable across both RPI and the web (provided that you’re using supported elements)

By allowing deeper segmentation logic—such as layered personas, channel preferences, and channel-specific suppression—the Audience Builder enables you to create more personalized and compliant cross-channel activations, faster. The result is a clearer, more efficient path from audience design to deployment, with a visual representation of the final activation so marketers can ship confidently.
